“Manifesting Heaven on Earth!” February 26, 2012

What is your concept of heaven? Is it an actual location existing in some future paradise, or is it a state of consciousness available here and now? The great mass of Christians today believe it to be a life after death reserved only for those considered to be “saved.” In actuality there is no basis for this in scripture. Jesus spoke of it only in parables, comparing it in story after story to be a state of consciousness to be obtained by man. The mustard seed parable was to show the capacity of the apparently small thought of Truth to develop in consciousness until it becomes the abiding place of a higher type of thoughts. The “end of the world” is the point in consciousness where the true thoughts are in the majority and the error thoughts have lost their hold. Heaven truly is already here in all its potentiality, and it is our privilege as well as our responsibility to do our part in manifesting heaven on earth by being consistent in our spiritual practices. The time spent in prayer and meditation creates dividends not only in our own experience of the heaven within, but in the transformation of the global consciousness.
